Tariff Regulations of Burgas and Varna Airports

 Passengers with Reduced Mobility Fee

We would like to inform you that by virtue of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 July 2006 concerning the rights of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility when travelling by air and after consultations with users of both Burgas and Varna airports, with a decision taken on 25.02.2009, the Management Board of ‘Fraport Twin Star Airport Management’ AD has introduced a PRM fee for Burgas airport amounting to € 0,22/per departing passenger and for Varna airport amounting to € 0,24/ per departing passenger.

The abovementioned fee will be levied by all air carriers using Burgas and Varna airports and it will be collected starting from 09.03.2009 for Burgas airport and from 01.03.2009 for Varna airport.
By virtue of Art. 298 of the Trade Law this information is designed for all actual and potential Airport users willing to use Burgas and Varna airports.
 Centralized Infrastructure Fee
We would like to inform you that by virtue of Art. 48з of the Civil Aviation Act, in connection with Art. 68 - 69 of Ordinance № 20 of November 24, 2006 for certification of the exploitation adequacy of the civil airports, airfields, systems and facilities for ground handling, licensing of airport operators and ground handling operators and Council Directive 96/67/EC of 15 October 1996 on access to the ground handling market at Community airports, with a decision taken on 25.01.2012, the Management Board of ‘Fraport Twin Star Airport Management’ AD has introduced a Centralized Infrastructure fee for Burgas airport amounting to € 1,03/ per each starting ton of the MTOW for regular and charter flights and to € 0,18/per each starting ton of the MTOW for general aviation, cargo, technical and other flights.
The abovementioned fee will be levied by all air carriers using Burgas Airport and it will be collected starting from 1 April 2012. All airport users are invited to conclude annexes to their SGHAs in order to avoid double charge.
By virtue of Art. 298 of the Trade Law this information is designed for actual and potential Airport users and ground handling agents willing to use Burgas Airport infrastructure in order to receive and provide ground handling services.
